Map editor

Extensive, very easy to use map editor with several simultaneously useable tilesets per map, grid, variable layers (tilesets, objects, monsters).
Overview of all monsters and events used on the map and a zoom function. Optional "border-teleports" allow fast connection of maps, by declaring on which map the player will be teleported if he touches one border of the current map. Alternatively, you can define map changes by events, which can be of any desired size. So it is not necessary to copy the same event over and over again to create an area in which the event will be activated.

Hero editor

The Heroes can be edited in every aspect, like maximum level, attributes, resistances, start equipment, learned spells and skills and much more.
"Depending" values like life points, magic points and base attack power can optionally be defined by an math formula. For example, the life points could be calculated by 2 * strength or some much more extensive formula.
"Independent" attributes like strength, intelligence, experience points needed to level up etc. are described by curves, so the increase per level can be adjusted accurately.

Skill- & Spell editor

Spells and skills can also be created very comprehensive and flexible. Starting with basics like spell points to use, damage types, conditions caused by the spell or skill, right through to explosion like spells, causing maximum damage in the center and lesser damage in the area around. Spells and skills can be linked to attributes, so you can create conditions like "weak", which prevents the usage of all spells and skills linked to the attribute "strength". For each spell you can create a static and a dynamic animation. Dynamic animations for example are fire balls which flies to the enemy, while static animations stay on the same position, like the explosion created by the fire ball after it hits the target. Each spell can have unlimited levels. This way it's possible to create spells which gets stronger but have the same animation (most usefully for mobile games with restrictions in heap and maximum file size).

Condition editor

With the Dawnatic Games Creator you can create nearly every imaginable condition for your game. Like "Confused", causing the afflicted character to attack his allies. "Silent", which makes the afflicted character unable to cast spells. Or "Regeneration", by which the afflicted character regenerates hit points each turn. And many more. You can define how long the condition shall be afflicted, which influence the condition has to the attributes and resistances of the character.

Item editor

Even the items you can create for your game are limitless. Should it be a simple wood sword, or an incredible beastslayer weapon with fire damage, increase of the hit points of the bearer and the power to poison the foes of your heroes. Adjustable are for example the influence to resistances and attributes, graphic, reach etc. Another special feature is the rune system. You can create runes which can be used by the player to improve the weapons and armors of his heroes.

Animation editor

The animations of the spells and skills can be created by using a grid-frame-system. You can select several graphics, place it on a grid, select the next frame, select the next graphics and so on. This way, you can easily create the animations of your spells and skills. Integrated is the preview for different mobile display sizes, so you can see if the animation is too big or small for specific screen sizes. The Dawnatic Games Creator also has a "movement" generator, so you can create smooth animations with just one click.

Script editor

The sequence of the game can be easily created by using script commands. You don't need any programming skills to create your game! Just choose the scripts commands with a simple mouse click to create simple or extensive sequences like "move the character to position XY" or long intro sequences.
All events can have different movement patterns, starting with random movement, vertically or horizontally movement to movement with waypoints. For each event you can define a specific trigger. Shall the script run when the party collides with the event? Or as soon as it comes in sight? Or shall it run at map entry? You can save scripts in a database to use them in different events. So you can simply drag & drop a treasure script onto the map to create a new treasure chest. The script system was optimized in regard to simplicity and fast scripting.

Path editor

All events can be controlled by a waypoint system. You can easily direct a NPC or the hero to move to a specific point. You can define the speed, relative movement, fixed viewing direction, or that the event will ignore collisions at all. The path finding system is based on the A* algorithm for optimized performance.
