The Title Screen |

START | Starts a new game. | |
LOAD | Loads a previously saved game. | |
F.A.Q. | Shows a selection of questions and their answers. | |
EXIT | Exits the game and returns to your desktop. | |
The Chapters Screen |

Save State | Saves the game to one of four slots. | |
Intro/Chapter/End | Starts a chapter. Not available chapters are grey. | |
Extras | Shows all the extra stuff. | |
Options | Here you can customize the game to your reading wishes or capabilities. | |
End Game | Shows a dialog with an exit confirmation. | |

Vocabulary | Shows all used Japanese vocabs orded by chapter. | |
Map of Japan | Displays a map with the used locations in Japan. | |
Pictures | Here you can access all artworks. | |
Music | Here you can listen to all the used music. | |
Chara Notes | Shows a screen through which you can read all about the characters. | |
Main Concept | Displays a text with the game's concept. | |
Author's Note | Displays a comment of the author (me). | |
Credits | Shows the credits screen. | |
Original Text | Here you can read the original story. | |
Back | Beams you right back to the chapters screen. | |
The Options Screen |

Music Volume | Lets you adjust the music volume from mute to 100%. | |
Sound Volume | Lets you adjust the sound volume from mute to 100%. | |
Text Speed | Here you can adjust the test speed from 20% up to 300%. | |
Auto Mode Delay | Here you can adjust the time the text is waiting at a confirmation point from none to five seconds, when the Auto Mode is enabled. Remember: With switched on Auto Mode you mustn't press Enter/C at confirmation points. However, choices still have to be confirmed if not already done. | |
Auto Save | Here you can activate the Auto Save and set some preferences, like which slot shall be used and whether a sound shall be played. Remember: This feature saves the game between chapter scenes and anytime you enter the chapters screen. | |
Japanese Modi | Lets you choose between four Modi for showing Japanese letters: Show all Kanji, show easy Kanji, show only Kana and use only Rômaji. | |

Back | Switches back to either the chapters screen or the interface menu. | |
Title Screen | Returns without(!) confirmation to the title screen. | |
The Interface |

Text Box | Here the text is shown. However, some big texts are shown full screen. | |
Name Box | Shows the name of the speaker and in brackets what the main protagonist thinks about him or her. Remark: The text is colored, too. | |
Actors | There are all the characters currently speaking. Sometimes they speak from beneath the scene, though. | |
Esc (B) / Right Mouse Button | With that Buttons you can call the interface menu. Remark: It works anytime no text is shown. | |

Back | Returns to the scene. | |
Auto Mode | Switches the Auto Mode on and off. | |
Save Game | Saves the game to one of four slots. | |
Options | Calls the options screen. | |
