Another month has passed us by and we are now nearing the middle of October. I have been very busy since we first started Console Classix and so my writings have been intermittent at best. However I have something very pleasing to write about this month. Victory! We have succeeded; we have done what we set out to do. Console Classix is a success. Everyday that passes we have more users, more players, more people enjoying what we have worked so hard to provide. 

We are very close to having an income that matches our financial requirements. This means we’re going to have more in the way of funding to further our goal. When we first opened this site we heard very little apart from criticism. We were told that Nintendo would shut us down. We were told that no one would pay for what they could steal for free. We were told no one would be interested in what we hoped to offer. Well, it’s been over a year. Nintendo hasn’t shut us down and they’re not going to. 

We have paying customers and we’re getting more everyday. Over ten thousand people have signed up for our NES service, and that appears to be interest to me! What everyone said was impossible we have already done. The foundation is laid, now all we have to do is build on it. We are doing that now and will continue to do it in the future. We are adding games at an alarming rate and will continue to do so until there are none left to add. We are going to be adding services and features one by one until Console Classix is the definitive place to find and play classic console games.
